Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Uyuni Salar - Colchani - Incahuasi Island
10:30 Departure from Uyuni to Colchan, a small town where the dwellers make the exploitation and the refining of the salt using salt´s stoves
Then entrance to Salar, where we will walk around piles of salt and appreciate a show about the salt´s extraction in salt blocks
Then we will look at the eyes of salt and get some souvenirs and handicrafts.
Afterwards we will visit the Incahuasi Island (known as the fish Island),where we can appreciate the huge cactus and an amazing landscape from a viewing point.
At noon we will have a box lunch in the Island and then we will walk around and go on to Chuvica , where we will overnight in a hotelthat is opposite to the Salar
Day 2: Cañapa lake and Colorada Lake
Am 07:30 aprox. Departure after breakfast. Visit to the high plateau lakes such as: Cañapa, Hedionda y Ramadita; then go on to the Siloli de sert to see the the rock tree.
Then we will visit the Colorada Lake (National Reserve Eduardo Avaroa) where we can appreciate the pink flamencos and Andean wild life such as : vicuña , suri o ñandu andean and others.
In this place we will overnight in a basic lodge
Day 3: Green Lake - Withe Lake - Rock Valley
Departure very early in the morning around 05:00 amto appreciate the geysers (volcanic fumes) and visit the water springs.
While walking ahead we can look at the strange forms of rocks due to the erosion and get to Green Lake, whose color changes between 11:00 and 12:00 at noonare very peculiar in this zone.
The we will visit the White Lake. We will have a box lunch and transfer for about 3 hours. Then we will visit the Rock Valley, with the option to stay that night in a town in Villa Mar, Culpina o Alota in a basic hotel.
Day 4: Colorada Pampa
Return to Uyuni by the Colorada Pampa rout, arriving at 13:30 pm
