Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Uyuni Salar - Colchani - Incahuasi Island
10:30 Departure from Uyuni to Colchan, a small town where the dwellers make the exploitation and the refining of the salt using salt´s stoves. Then entrance to Salar, where we will walk around piles of salt and appreciate a show about the salt´s extraction in salt blocks.
Then we will look at the eyes of salt and get some souvenirs and handicrafts.
Afterwards we will visit the Incahuasi Island (known as the fish Island),where we can appreciate the huge cactus and an amazing landscape from a viewing point.
At noon we will have a box lunch in the Island and the we will walk around and go on to Chuvica , where we will overnight in a hotel that is opposite to the Salar.
Day 2: Uyuni Salar - Colorada Lake
07:30 Departure after breakfast. Visit to the high plateau lakes such us : Cañapa, Hedionda y Ramadita; then we will go on to the Siloli de sert to see the rock tree.
Then we will visit the Colorada Lake (National Reserve Eduardo Avaroa) where we will appreciate the pink flamencos and Andean wild life such as : vicuña , suri or ñandu andean and others.
In this place we will overnight in a basic hotel.
Day 3: Uyuni - Pampa Colorada
Departure very early in the morning around 05:00 am to appreciate the geysers (volcanic fumes) and visit the water springs.
Then we will visit the Rock Valley located near the Alota, and after that we will return to Uyuni by the Pampa Colorada Rout, arriving at 18:30 pm aprox.
