Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Santa Cruz – San Javier – Concepcion

07:00 Departure for the Jesuit Missions. Trip through the Eastern Lowlands , the Rio Grande or Guapay railway bridge and the town of San Ramón. Upon arrival in San Javier we visit the church and the museum, followed by lunch. We continue our trip to Concepción, stopping on our way at the "Paquió" Stones. Arriving in Concepción we visit the Sapocó lagoon and dam, where we can bathe. We register in a comfortable hotel. In the evening, a visit to the Concepción church, dinner, overnight lodging.

Day 2: Concepcion– San Ignacio

Breakfast, later Departure for San Ignacio. Along the way, one can observe the wildlife, and we pass through several villages, arriving in San Ignacio around noon. Lunch and lodging in a hotel in this town. In the afternoon, after a short rest, we de part for San Miguel, well – known for the excellent wood carvings done there. Dinner and overnight stay in San Ignacio.

Day 3: San Ignacio – San Jose de Chiquitos

Breakfast, Departure for San José de Chiquitos, enjoying a box lunch on the way. In the afternoon, a visit to the church in San José, the only Jesuit Mission in Eastern Bolivia built of stone, a visit to the town swimming in the river. Dinner and overnight stay in San José.

Day 4: San Jose de Chiquitos - San Ignacio

Breakfast. Visit to the San José church. Lunch.
Return to San Ignacio.
Visit to the San Miguel mission. Dinner and overnight stay in San Ignacio.

Day 5: San Ignacio – Concepcion

Breakfast, morning free. After lunch, we begin the return trip to Concepción. Return trip to Santa Cruz. .

Day 6 : Concepcion - Santa Cruz

Morning Free. At 10:00, return trip to Santa Cruz. We make a short visit to the private ecological reserve called "La Dolorida" owned by to Mr. Hans Ertl. Lunch in San Javier. Arrival in Santa Cruz at 19:00.
