


At an altitude over 3,800 meters above the sea level, with 283 meters in depth and an extension over 9,000 square kilometers, lies the highest navigable body of water in the world, the mysterious and sacred lake of the Incas: the Titicaca Lake.
This magical place keeps in its territory the archeological site of the oldest civilization in the continent, Tiwanaku. It's vigorous presence as a center of cultural irradiation was shared with other contemporary populations and in time it became the origin of the most powerful andean civilization.
