The city is not excessively big, for what walking by its streets is always a good option that will allow you to know much better the constitutional capital city of Bolivia. Now, do not worry to much when feeling tired, since there is a great number of taxi companies in the city; taxi units are not of yellow color and do not have taximeters. Do not forget that you have to agree on the price with the driver before boarding the unit. Keep also in mind that bargaining is a very diffused practice, so if you are not agree on the price then try to get a discount.
As in every main city of Bolivia, in Sucre the service of Radio Taxis also exist and is safer. Call to one of the companies dedicated to this activity and, in minutes, they will pick you up at any place. Remember that these units may also be hired per hour.
