Due to its semi-tropical climate, Santa Cruz de la Sierra is one of those cities that can be visited at any time of the year; although it is preferable to avoid the rainy season, that is to say, from December until March.
Before leaving toward Santa Cruz, keep in mind that the temperature fluctuates between 29 and 32 centigrade degrees in spring and summer; while in winter it can fall down until 20 centigrade degrees. It is recommendable to take slight clothes and sunglasses.
A good season to visit these hot lands is the carnival that is carried out in February and that has certain resemblance with the Brazilian carnivalesque parades.
