During your stay in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, you should taste the "majao" (a stew of rice), the charque (dry meat) and paprika; the locro (soup made of rice), charque or hen; the cruceño dish (a succulent combination of fried banana, rice, eggs and salad) or el tonto (yucca and cheese cooked in a grill).
