Being Oruro a small town is not a complicated task moving around. If you want to discover and to enjoy the urban attractiveness of the city you may walk from one place to the other.
But if you are of those who prefer not to challenge the rigors of the altitude, don't worry too much, because in Oruro there is a great quantity of vehicles dedicated to the taxi service. These units are not of yellow color and do not have taximeters either, reason why you will have to negotiate the price with the driver before boarding.
Besides the taxis, there are some rural vans dedicated to the transport of passengers. These units, called "combis", have predetermined routes and rates but trips are endless and quite uncomfortable.
