


For its geographical location, Oruro is, in certain way, the center of distribution of the transportation services in and out of the different regions of Bolivia, reason why, arriving to the this corner of the Andean heights is quite simple and affordable.
There are several bus companies that go to Oruro departing from La Paz (capital city of Bolivia). Units depart from the bus terminal of La Paz located at the Antofagasta Square. Even though buying your tickets in advance is not a requirement, it is recommendable to do it in order to avoid any last minute setback.
The trip from La Paz to Oruro lasts, approximately, 4 hours. The highway, in general terms, is in very good conditions and the landscape is quite attractive along the route, then is a good idea to stay awake and enjoy the creative whims of the nature.
