During great part of the year, the city of Cochabamba is blessed by a pleasant and welcoming climate in which extreme temperatures are not present. However, between the months of December and March, there are some rains -not as strong or violent as in the highlands or in the Orient-.
Some civic and traditional festivities add extra dose of interest to the always attractive Cochabamba. You should keep in mind, when planning your trip, that the festivity of San José is commemorated on February,2nd in Quillacollo; on May, 13th is the homage to Nuestra Señora de Mayo y Nuestra Señora de Fátima; on August, 6th the independence is commemorated; on August, 15th the people surrender cult to the Virgin of Urkupiña; and on September, 14th is the departmental anniversary
