Tour Itinerary

Starting in the Island of the Sun in Lake Titicaca, the cradle of the Andean civilizations, with a project, “Ecolodge La Estancia”, built using all the concepts of ecotourism.Enjoy this Sacred Inca land to receive all the energy given by the nature and its culture, to continue exploring new unique programs in remote areas of the Royal Andes Range and the entrance of the Amazon in LosYungas.

Day 1 : La Paz / Calvario

Private transportation crossing the highlands towards the west through Patacamaya and Sajama, a small village with a great church and thermal hot springs. Enter a rural road to the Calvario farm, where the first camp is settle.(L, D)

Day 2 : Calvario / Rinconada – Base camp

It is a hike through a nice valley and the highlands until the western foothills of the mountain, at La Rinconada, where the base camp is settle.(B, L, D)

Day 3 : Rinconada / Nido de Condores - High camp

A very steep uphill climb until the high camp, known as Nidode Condores. (B, L, D)

Day 4 : Sajama Summit / Base camp

You pass first a glacier, then many small hills, one after another until reaching the top.Being at the highest peak of Bolivia, majestic in the middle of the highlands.Descend to high camp (2 hours) and then base camp (2 hour) .(B, L, D)

Day 5 : Base Camp / Calvario / Sajama / La Paz

Hike down to the valley and enter the highlands, until Sajama, with an option to recover some energy at the local hot springs.Transportation back to La Paz. (B, L)
